My LO is 7 weeks old and about 14 lbs and 24 inches long, and I’m wondering when to remove his car seat newborn insert? Right now I can still use it but the straps are set to the loosest setting and before long it’ll be too tight for him. I’m a FTM and I just want to make sure he is still positioned safely once I remove the insert. We have a Britax B-Safe 35 and online they say the insert should be used from 8-14 lbs. Is it safe to remove it now? How can I be sure he is still positioned safely and his head will be supported?
