Help! Ladies who are taking clear blue digital ovulation tests

Hey all. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant in November. AF just showed up and we are really bummed.

The last couple of months, we have been doing it every other day, multiple sessions during ovulation window. My concern is that he has low sperm count (the amount he goes is little when we do it multiple days in a row).

I take clear blue digital ovulation tests each month. Should we wait having sex until I get a solid smiley face (ie only on the 2nd and 3rd) Or should we keep having sex only in the fertility window (ie 31st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th)?

Also how long does sperm stay alive in me? Thanks!
