What's your favorite genre?
And more importantly, what's the character you're just tied of finding in stories? (Or plot device)
Is it the love triangle?
Broody so and so against emotional boy next door?
Or is that right up your ally?
Do you love sci fi but wish female protagonists could vary a lot more?
Does foreshadowing make you cringe?
Why do I ask? Because I have a 2 year old and have seen the same ONE movie so many times I've started analyzing it for character development and literary plot devices lol.
So I was curious, in story telling as a whole, what type of characters have you just had enough of? (- or what kind can you not get enough of? ;)
Or do you believe we need these character "types" & that's why they've become so prevalent in our stories?
