Nipple shields?

Has anyone used these? Do they help? Trying to decide if they would be worth a try!

I was given them in day 1 at the hospital because of flat nipples. I think they are great, but more of a pain if i feed outside of the home- another item to remember to pack and a pain to discreetly put on.

I used one for a few days when my nipples were unbearably sore around weeks 2-3 of bf. After that I stopped because my baby latched well and I didn't want to make anything change lol if you're having trouble latching or have flatter nipples etc I've heard they're great!

They really should only be used under the advice of a lactation consultant. Just be cautious
