Best type of blanket for car seat in winter?

Since coats are a no no what blankets/blanket fabric type is best? When I have him out and about in the stroller he’ll def need it!

Wool blanket, preferably Merino wool.

I got my son a specific car seat blanket. It had a hood and big open gaps for his straps to go though then you just closed it in around him after he was strapped in. It looked like an owl so you basically closed the wings after he was strapped in. He loved it!

I guess the cozy cover cheap but works well to keep baby warm and does not interfere with the car seat or straps off just goes over the top part
