Breast pumps?

Question

So I'm a FTM and looking at breast pumps through aeroflow for the first time and I have no idea where to start. What is important when choosing a pump?

I’m a FTM as well but I looked each one up on amazon and read the reviews. I really wanted the Blue Spectra for work but my insurance didn’t cover it fully. I ended up going with the pink Spectra because of reviews and a lot of woman I know recommended it. It’s light, the handle doubles as a night light, a paper my doctor gave me comparing different ones said it’s considered hospital grade as well, and supposedly quieter than medela which will be nice for night pumping and work. Those were just a few of my reasons for going with that one.

Hands down Spectra. 
I’ve had Medela and Spectra. 
It’s hard to explain but feeding a baby is gentle. They naturally know how to feed without hurting you. A Spectra gently stimulates the milk flow and there are so many settings to make it comfortable. 
For me, Medela made me feel like a vacuum was trying to nurse from me. I hated it. It was so rough and mechanical. Nothing enjoyable and I almost never could get any milk flow because it was so unnatural to me.

Lol I didn’t know either I asked some of my mom friends. I was told Spectra but can’t even remember the reasons why. I did go through the same company though and it was super simple! After getting approved I think it was maybe a 2-3 day wait while the contacted the doctor and got the script. Once that was done, it shipped quickly!
