I’m scheduled for a D&C on Monday and found out I will only be given a local anesthetic injection to my cervix which really scares me. I thought I would be put out completely so I didn’t have to feel an injection to that area or be awake during the procedure. I’m more worried about the shot to the cervix than the possible cramping feeling during the procedure... I know giving birth will be so much more painful and I need to suck it up but I wanted to know how painful other women’s experiences were. I only made it to a little over 6 weeks but have only been lightly spotting brown so far so I imagine they’ll have a decent amount to remove. Thank you 🙏🏼
