Is 36 weeks safe for a flu shot? Or should I wait until I give birth?

I got the Tdap shot. I don’t remember if it’s been a month or less since I got it. How long after that am I suppose to wait to get the flu shot? Or can I just get it now? Or at this point I should just wait until after birth?

Ok can I just say one thing. I’ve never gotten the flu shot IN MY LIFE. Until I was pregnant with my first daughter who was born November 2018. I got it sometime in September so 2 months before she was born. To my knowledge it was the worst flu season in history..I wouldn’t know because I did not get sick, she didn’t either. She’s almost 1 years old and has NEVER gotten sick, no cold, no cough etc. I got it again this year because I’m pregnant again. But here’s the thing- I get it done at my doctors office. I feel like they have special flu shots for pregnant women, or maybe I’m just weird like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's best to get before so the antibodies pass thru to baby for extra safety since it is flu season

You could have gotten them both at the same time. I was offered both at my 28 week appointment and got the tdap but waited to get the flu shot only because I get it through work. But I went at 31 weeks and got my flu shot then.
