2 month vaccines??

Question

Did anyone’s baby act super weird after their two month vaccines? My daughter got hers this morning and has been only wanting to sleep since then. If she wakes up she cries immediately and keeps crying until she goes back to sleep. She has been able to eat but is falling asleep half way through feedings though she does end up getting a full feeding. Is this normal? Are these typical side effects?? She’s not fevered.

Moms: if someone tells you “the latest studies say Tylenol renders vaccines ineffective, this is NOT TRUE. 
There have been many studies done with inconclusive results. Some have shown Tylenol before vaccs decreases effectiveness, some say after, most say no effect at all. 
Do your own research, talk to your pediatrician, and tune out the sanctimommies who seem to get pleasure out of guilting moms and spreading fear-mongering misinformation.

My ped said give a little infant tylenol if they seem fussy/in pain, their leg might be a little sore like your arm would be after the flu/tdap shot.

Was literally just going to post something. My son had his today at 2 months and after seeing another post I was feeling better thinking it wouldn’t be too bad... omg I’ve never heard such loud screams from anyone. He’s finally asleep in my wrap. Poor baby 😢 I hope it doesn’t last long for either of us.

Very normal. My baby was so sleepy coupled with inconsolable crying. The third day after she was back to her normal happy self.

My daughter had hers yesterday too and sooo sleepy. I exclusively pump but haven’t been able to do so as she is asleep on me most of the day. Want to give her as much comfort as possible but worried my supply is going to drop :/

My little girl had hers two days ago and she was just grouchy, like grunting a lot and that’s about it. I made sure she had calpol though every 5 hours to keep the post-immunisation fever down and her feeling well. I gave her calpol yesterday too but not today as she seems back to normal.

Normal my baby was acting weird for about 2 days but I split his up so I don’t think it was as bad as some people have experienced. I just gave him some Tylenol and then he was much better :)

Yes, my daughter had hers on Tuesday and acted pretty much the same as you are describing. She was back to normal the next day though

Normal! My son was more cranky and tired that day as well. He was fine and back to normal the next!
