I log meds, date, time, feed, diapers and sleep. I keep a notebook on a clipboard. I did the same with my daughter till just past a year. I do it for my sanity. It makes it easier for me to figure out what baby needs. Or if something’s wrong. I also worked in daycare and we had to keep track of all that so it’s also part habit.

I only used it when my pediatrician wanted me to keep track for 2 weeks to see exactly how much he was getting per day.

I log everything exactly. If not, I would literally never know how long it’s been between diapers and bottles. But I’m going back to work part-time in a couple weeks and think I’ll probably stop... it will be so weirs not to log everything though lol. He’s like my little Sim or Tomagatchi 😂😂😂

I stared using it in the beginning because my son had elevated jaundice. I had to feed him every 2 hours and keep track of how long he nursed for his first 3 weeks. So I just used the diaper and breastfeeding logs. It was SOO helpful. Then I just got used to it. Now I've started using the sleep log and it is nice to be able to see his sleep patterns. Plus I can show everything to the doctor if I need to.

Nope. I didn’t do it in the hospital either and they got mad at me. Then when they weighed her upon leaving she only went from 6 pounds 15 oz to 6 pounds 9 oz which is really good. And I was like “rest assured I’m going to take care of my daughter thanks” lmfao

I log feeds because I only use one side at a time and never remember which side he goes on 😂 also diapers bc my pediatrician always asks how many diapers he has per day so I like to keep track of his patterns.
