Is my baby measuring normal?

Dr said my baby is weighing in at 4pounds. And is in the 30th percentile. I’m currently 33 weeks. Is that normal?

Yes, as long as he’s over 10% doctors won’t be concerned. My little guys at 21%, and my doctor has me laying down 20 minutes after eating and eating several meals a day to try and keep him from dropping to under 10%. But i have issues with the cord placement on the placenta. Not quite marginal but 🤷🏻‍♀️ that’s what my doctor told me to do.

I would say so with my first he always measured “small” with this one he is big he was 4lbs at 31 weeks already

We’re around the 30/40th percentile at 32 weeks - our sonographer explained that while baby was bigger at the 20 week scan, this far along its more genetics coming into play. Neither my husband or I are large or were large babies.
My last bub was smaller the entire way through due to my hellp syndrome.

Try not to worry so much about ultrasound readings. They aren’t the most accurate readings. My dr doesn’t even really take them into account 😬 he asks ME more so how I’m feeling. My first son was over 8 pounds at 35 weeks. I thought I was going to have to push out a 20 pound baby. He came out at 40+1 at 7.8 pounds.

Just had an appointment yesterday at 32+2 and doctor estimated 4lbs 1oz which was something like 30 or 33rd percentile. He said as long as it’s above 10th and below 90th then no concern 😊

30th percentile just means for every 100 women at your gestational age, 70 of their babies would be bigger and 29 would be smaller. It’s still well within the norm. Also, those measurements are notoriously faulty, so most doctors don’t put much stock in them. For instance I was told my daughter was well over 9 lbs at 39w1d; she was born 6 days later and was 7lb5oz

Your baby still has time to grow so don't worry. The specialist I see says my son is on the 70 percentile he's 3lbs 15oz I'm 30 weeks no worries mommy continue doing all you can for baby❤

At 32w5d mine was measuring 4lb8oz and in the 39th percentile. So sounds about the same. They did say I was measuring 3 days ahead though.
