Does anyone else gets bothered by this

It bothers me that my husband's family wants to pass my baby from person to person 😡 honestly I get really irritated and don't know how to make that stop.

It actually doesn't bother me at all. I have four children and it's never been an issue for me.

I literally could have written this. My husbands family loves to pass my baby around and it’s so annoying. My MIL also loves to give unwanted advice, take my baby and not give him back to me. Even when he is tired, upset and just wants me. So irritating!!!

It doesn’t bother me at all. I want our whole family to enjoy our little guy. Some people just miss holding a baby or never had their own to hold. It is very special.
Is it the germs that bother you? If so, just bring hand sanitizer and ask everyone to use it before holding the baby. Or just use the excuse that they haven’t had all vaccinations yet.

This week was my grandfather's funeral so my baby got passed around the whole time since this was the first time everyone got to meet him...he is close to 3 months now so I wasn't too annoyed (probably would have been if he was younger) but my five year old niece followed whoever had him like a bodyguard and literally yelled at them to give him back to me if he started to fuss 😂😂😂 I was like good looking out girl! 😛

Oh thank god reading the comments I’m not the only one although everyone around me say how difficult and unpleasant I’ve been lol NO, BIG FAT NO, to anyone who wants to pass my baby around, I don’t even let anyone hold my baby let alone pass him around, I made sure people wait till if I want and chose to at the right time allow them a short hold/cuddle. And I if I ask for my baby back, they better give him back, this all steamed from my MIL wanting to hold baby, not giving him back and constantly telling him mummy is starving you, I need to take you to my house to feed you 😑😶🤬

I get angry about this too. My mom has handed him off to my grandparents, and brothers girlfriend while I was in the bathroom before and needless to say I was angry. I told her many times before that I don’t want others holding him especially since it’s flu season. You aren’t crazy for those feelings at all. I never knew how to handle it at first but now I’m very vocal about it and I’ve become very protective.

My husbands family does the same. The first thing my husbands mom will do is take the baby carrier as soon as we walk in. But my husband will stop her if he’s sleeping or needs to be fed when we get there. He also puts a stop to the baby being passed around. 
   His dad recently passed away and the day after we went to his parents house and all his cousins and aunts were over the house the baby went from my SIL to a cousin and when the cousin went to pass him to an aunt my husband said he’s only a month old not everyone is holding him. And then he took him for a while then let his aunt hold him.

I hate that! I had an experience where my husband's aunt was holding my 1 week old baby, then asks her 12 year old if he wants to hold him?! I sat there with my mouth open, I was too stunned to protest (luckily he said no. Also, I didn't know until that morning that she was hauling her kids 1.5 hours to my house even though I made it pretty clear I didn't want children around my fresh baby. Needless to say I wasn't happy).

I don’t let them hold my baby at all. I breastfeed so she’s usually nursing anyway. But I tell them sorry, it’s flu season she doesn’t need to be held by anyone right now.
