Cervical position/mucus

So I know there have been 100 other posts regarding this but I am so confused.

I understand what is what- what it feels like- how it changes- what to look for bla.

But after checking every day to two days nothing ever seems to change. I am always at knuckle 2 with a creamy whiteish clear lotiony mucus. Every.. single.. day.. for like maybe two months I’ve been looking. The only time it has changed was ONCE and it was the non fertile- got more gloopy i guess but then went back to my liquidy lotion white/clear..

But everything says it should change obviously.. am I missing something? Could it mean I’m never ovulating or anything? I have had issues conceiving in my past (4 years to have my little boy and a miscarriage at 2 years of trying so I know it has to be happening at least sometime)

Any help would be appreciated.
