Braxton Hicks or Real Deal
I am 33, almost 34 weeks pregnant with my second child. Wednesday we thought my water broke and went to the hospital. Turns out not the case. Last night I was awake for a good 5+ hours having contractions. They were 5 minutes apart and lasted anywhere from 50 to 60 seconds if not longer. Mostly frontal with some lower back pain. I changed positions, walked around, but they did not subside. At some point they eased a bit and I was able to fall asleep. This morning they have come back again but more sporadic. I haven’t timed them yet as I’m running around like crazy trying to get errands done. 😐 This exact scenario (going to hospital for a small hush of fluid, and then going into labor with night time contractions and then waking up next day to more dull pains and running around) is what happened when I had my first baby, except I was further along. I did not experience Braxton Hicks with her so I’m not sure exactly what the difference is. Do we think these are the real deal or that they’re Braxton Hicks? Help!
