Okay so I’m posting this anonymously Incase anyone I know is on here but-

I want to quit my current job. I already have a second job at a grocery store and want to put in more hours there.

My current job is a waitress. I work three days there. Two of the days are register shifts so four hours at 7.50$ an hour. And the other day is a waitress day which is 7 hours at 3$ an hour. I don’t make enough there for all my bills each month and that’s the first reason I want to quit. The second reason is I’m pretty sure my married boss is fucking my sister. My sister got me the job at the restaurant originally and I needed money so I took it anyway. My older sister was dating the boss-they had a nasty breakup and she then quit. My sister that still works there is always acting suspiciously. She’ll leave work at the end of her shift and the boss will leave to “go do something” she then gets home an hour late. Every time she works this happens. They flirt all the time in front of me and it makes me very uncomfortable. He’s known for going after younger girls and he also flirts with me sometime.

I want to quit because I don’t really make good money there and my sister screwing w/ her married boss/ sisters ex makes it all much worse. Plus, at the waitressing job I don’t get breaks, I’m not allowed to sit down, I can’t eat anything and I can only drink for seven + hours. The only “breaks” I get are bathroom breaks and if I use too many I get a “talking too” and you’re literally not allowed to call off for any reason ever.

Should I try and make both jobs work and just deal with it or quit the waitress and work at the grocery store?

My mom and I constantly get in fights about me quitting the waitressing- she keeps throwing it in my face that I spend too much money and I won’t make any money at the grocery store and waitressing is good under-the-table money for a college student but I just don’t make enough. It’s getting close to winter which means the restaurant will be slower which means I won’t make as much in tips.

I just don’t know what to do here.
