So, since practically conception, my son has been short. His arms and legs measured a week behind at his 20 week anatomy scan. Fast forward to now, he is 9 months old. He has never been higher than 14th percentile in height. This week we found out he has fallen below his growth curve and is in the 4th percentile. From 6m to 9m he grew 3/4 of an inch. He is currently 27 inches tall. His weight is fine, 63rd percentile, and his head is more than fine at a steady 98th percentile from birth.

Anyways, our doctor is concerned about him being so short. For reference, I'm 5ft 1. At 9m I was 28in. His doctor was also my doctor growing up. My son is otherwise built like a linebacker. Big head, broad shoulders, barrel chested.

Has anyone dealt with this? I feel like he'll just grow out of it at some point but her being concerned over it makes me worry that there's a problem. I'm sorry this is so long. Here's some pictures of my little man!
