Is it true women who are heavier have a harder time getting pregnant? I’m 5’3 and 260 lbs (last time I was weighed) I know that’s an unhealthy weight and no one needs to judge me for it. I’m this weight for very personal reasonings but I would love to have kids in the future but with my weight and all i don’t know if that will affect it.

It *can* make it harder, but pregnancy still possible. Women heavier than u, including me, get pregnant everyday. My son is now almost 11, but I’m 5’2 & weighed around 270-280 when I got pregnant with him.

It depends on the person if it will effect them.. I got pregnant with no problems at 230 pounds. My husband is also overweight too and no problems... 
But I have (had cause I’m pregnant) very regular periods each month.

It can definitely make it harder on you to get pregnant, and it would also make you a high risk pregnancy. It can give baby trouble developing, and it can make you develop health conditions and worsen your existing ones if you have any. You’re also at risk of developing preeclampsia which can be life threatening for you and for your baby. So I would suggest starting to implement healthier habits to make the journey easier for you. It will also serve as practice since you need to eat healthier and exercise at least 30 minutes a day when pregnant! Good Luck on your journey♥️

If you are so heavy you start having irregular periods and hormonal imbalances then yes you can have a much harder time getting pregnant. Same with being way too thin. Being a good weight for who you are, your body type, health, ect is "optimal" for babies. Even then some people have individual health issues that make pregnancy harder like thyroid conditions, herpes, and more that don't really have anything to do with your weight but rather your health. Hope that helps. If you are concerned you can always talk to your doctor about looking into how fertile you and your partner are.
