Ttcing after IC loss?

I just lost my daughter at 18 weeks. Due to IC. It was very recent. I struggled hard to get pregnant with her. Due to other health conditions including a clotting condition. Took me two yrs almost to get pregnant. 
I'm just curious when other people started to try again? How long did it take u to get pregnant again? Preventive measures did u take? Was ur next pregnancy successful?

Hi. I’m very sorry to hear that. There are better days ahead. I lost my first at 19 weeks due to IC. I got pregnant 2 months after. When I got pregnant with my second I was monitored closely and surely my cervix was opening. I had an emergency stitch put in at 17 weeks with bed rest because my cervix shortened to 1cm and had my baby full term. My second pregnancy I opted for preventative stitch at 13 weeks given my history. My cervix did shorten with the stitch in but holding on. I’m now 30 weeks and stitch comes off in 7 weeks. So so sorry... I am here if you need to talk... all my love to you..
I lost my first at 22+5.. it took us 9 months to get pregnant with him so I wanted to try right away. Our doctor just said wait until my first period.. so we did and amazingly got pregnant that round.. we then did a "wait and see" approach to see if I truely had IC (worst mistake ever) and ended up getting a rescue cerclage at 22+6.. then progesterone and bedrest until 35 weeks.. I got the cerclage out and was 4cm dialated and stayed that way until I was induced st 40+5!!
Next pregnancy we will get a preventitive cerclage at 13-14 weeks.. which are usually 95% effective in getting to full term for true IC situations :)

It took me almost 2 years also to get pregnant with the baby i lost last year at 24 weeks...at my postpartum check my doctor told me try to avoid having sex during ovulation for 3 cycle...don't use meds or any kind of protection...and the next pregnancy planned to put cerclage at 12 weeks
Thats exactly what happened 
Got pregnant in the third cycle...had regular checkups till 12 weeks...got the cerclage and started progesterone shots same day
Weekly shots/oral progesterone/baby aspirin stopped at 20 weeks coz i didn't need it/appointments every 2 weeks to check length up to 26 weeks then they stopped checking the length...took lung shot at 26 weeks also
Bedrest...bedrest...bedrest
Regular checkups for infections...vaginal and urine culture
