Does taking daily pain meds lower or damage your chances of getting pregnant?

I only take a hydro 5/325 mg for chronic pain I’ve been having since my car wreak last year! In which I severely damaged my knee! I am Just wanting to know from you experienced ladies out there your knowledge or experiences with this type of situation! Thank y’all so much!

I don’t think so, but you might want to talk to your ob before you start to ttc to come up with a pain management plan because I don’t think that med is totally safe for pregnancy.

I only know from my friend’s experience - she was on that for years never got pregnant (wasn’t on bc), but she decided to quit two years ago and then got pregnant right away. Her Dr said her pain medication was acting as a bc 🤷🏼‍♀️ probably not the case for everyone thought

I wasn’t sure if it would affect it or not. I was just curious but I’ve know people that have gotten pregnant and taking worse drugs
