buckle up because this is a trip....

I met my boyfriend a little over 6 months ago because we were baristas at a French Bakery here in New York City. We fell for each other very quickly and soon it turned into a whirlwind romance where both of us couldn’t really picture this ever ending...

there is one big twist though,

my boyfriend is from France and was here on a 6 month visa. we knew it was going to be hard but we tried to embrace every moment we spent with each other while we could. One month before he left, we got engaged. This has all been so overwhelming and amazing for us both but I guess I’m just looking for some advice from anyone who has done a very long distance relationship (we are Europe and US). Any tips on how to stay close and connected and still have a relationship that grows and doesn’t stay stagnant. We will be reunited in March when I go to visit and then only a couple months after that when I move. Any advice is appreciated❤️
