How to sanitize my 1 year olds tooth brush?

I want to clean it. But not sure what to use. 
Should I just boil for 5 minutes in water?

Just buy a new one. Toothbrushes are meant to be thrown away and replaced every 2-3 months.

Honestly, hubby and I used to throw our toothbrushes in the dishwasher. But you can just buy a new one

I just pour a little peroxide on it, let it sit for awhile then rinse thoroughly. I do that with all of our toothbrushes here and there.

Is it just a regular toothbrush? Or a silicone one? 
A regular toothbrush won't hold up to boiling. Just buy a new one.
