Anyone else’s baby still only awake for an hour at a time?

My son can only take about an hour of awake time at a time before he gets fussy and needs a nap then he will nap for an hour to an hour and a half. I thought by now he would be awake for more part of the day. He’s 9 weeks. Is this normal ?

Mine starts fussing exactly an hour after being awake in the morning. It’s like clockwork! He sometimes is an hour to two hours throughout the day but yes he’s not up for long. 10 weeks today.

9 weeks Thursday. She is usually getting fussy at the hr mark, but is only napping for 45-an hr. She is wanting to eating every 1.5-2 hrs still. Every now and then I can stretch it to 2.5-3 hrs

Trade babies please. Blake is up all day with maybe 2 one hour naps and will talk himself to sleep at 8:30/9:00pm and wake up at 6:00/6:30am talking. None of my other kids were like this😩

Mine wakes up around 7:30am- eats, we take sister to school, eats again around 8:45am , and then sleeps from about 9:15am till 1:30pm. Then she is awake for a couple hours, naps, awake and naps, she continues with this routine of 45min to an hour naps and awake a couple hours till about 10:30pm or 11pm .then she eats then cuddles and sleeps till either around 5am or 7:30am.
I feel like she sleeps A LOT. And sleeping through the night for the past two weeks. She’s been a heavy sleeper since birth.

60-90 minute wake time is normal for under 12 weeks :)

Mine is rarely awake for even an hour. We get a small stretch in the morning, and an hour or two in the evening, and other than that... He's asleep. He wakes to eat, and is happy and alert when he is awake. But I also worry about it a bit.
