Update possible miscarriage

On Friday night I had sudden bleeding heavy red blood with no cramps I just felt the blood come out,, I went to the hospital and they didnt even do an ultrasound just blood work and urinalysis. . well the bleeding lasted only 3 hours with no cramps but I did pass some clots..

Could I have miscarried or could it have been something else, anyone with similar stories?

I passed 2 clots a small one and a big one but it came out when I wiped,, no pain or anything...

I was 8w4d

***Well today 10/28 I scanned myself at school and seen my little bean and its heart beating,, I feel much relieved, I have a drs appointment tomorrow to see what exactly happened
