Has anyone nursed a newborn and a toddler?

Question

I am 8 weeks pregnant and nursing my 22 mo. I don’t know how to go about stopping. I don’t want him to resent new baby if I stop when he/she is born or if I do both of them. 
Those who continued, what was the experience like.

I nursed my first baby throughout my second pregnancy with no issues at all (except my nipples hurt like hell when she latched on). I decided to continue to nurse her when the baby came but I set limits on her nursing (once before nap time and once before bed). 
Once she adjusted to being a big sister, we cut out the nap session when her brother was about 2 months old (he of course continued to nurse on demand). Then about 2 months later I cut out the last night time nursing session and honestly she barely noticed and it was a great end to a great breastfeeding relationship. It also helped her SO much because she never felt jealous or replaced since she got to nurse too in the beginning.
I was definitely nervous about tandem nursing and nursing while pregnant but it worked out great. I’m now pregnant with baby #3 and still nursing my son. I plan to approach this time around the same way!

My babies are 19 months apart and I nursed my entire pregnancy and tandem nursed when the baby arrived. It’s totally possible and it’s a great bonding experience.

I’ve got a 14mo nursing and 9 weeks. Dr said it was fine and great to be nursing still. Also dunno when to stop if I do.

You can be pregnant and still breastfeed. In my case unfortunately I have lost my supply  due to the pregnancy though, so my now 10 month old has weaned to formula over the past month. If your supply holds up than that suggests your body can handle the demands of both little humans. 
Ultimately it is up to you, if you are ready to wean just try giving up a feeding at a time or shorten the feeding time. If you want to keep breastfeeding, by all means keep doing it! Plenty of people have tandem breastfed a toddler and infant. Your toddler may be jealous and not understand having to share you but they will adjust. Good luck with whatever you decide!
