Dr is no help!

Has anyone ever had a doctor (fertility doctor) tell them they can’t help them with their short luteal phase and I just have “to let my body do what it’s supposed to do”? I have 10 day luteal phases and it’s making it hard for us to get pregnant. She said she can’t put me on progesterone pills because they won’t do anything to help. She said my body just has short luteal phases and that’s just the way it is. What am I supposed to do to help with that issue??
