Antidepressants/anxiety meds during pregnancy?

Has anyone taken them in previous pregnancies? (I’m talking about SSRIs in particular)

If so I have some questions:

1. What drug did you take? If you took this drug before pregnancy did you have worse side effects while pregnant?

2. Did baby have any withdraws?

3. Were you able to successfully produce milk and breastfeed?

4. For those who have been to counseling: A lot of the anxiety/depression women feel while pregnant may be linked to hormones. With that being said, did you think the drugs were more effective for your symptoms than going to see a therapist?

I know I need to get back on some medication as I had severe PPD with first born and I’m already feeling super anxious. But I’m just nervous about how it may effect baby. I spoke with a nurse today who told me baby could experience some withdraws if I go on this particular medication😅 I want to start meds but I’m thinking maybe I should wait towards the end to reduce the chance of baby having withdraws... or maybe I’ll just seek therapy? Regardless I’m going to speak with my doc at my next appointment, but I just wanted to hear other’s experiences. I’m probably overanazlying this but it’s just my mindset right now 🙃 thanks for your help in advance!
