Any tips for managing baby’s growth spurts?

Any veteran breastfeeding mamas have tips for surviving your newborn’s 2-week growth spurt? My LO is sleeping for about 45-60 minutes at a time instead of her usual 2 hours and she’s been in a feeding frenzy all day.

Sounds like cluster feeding. There is nothing you can do but continue to feed her when she is hungry

Just sleep when you can and drink a ton of water. My husband was a life saver while we were going through that spurt, we took turns in the middle of the night and he bottle fed (with what I collected from the haakaa) whenever he could, or he would change her diaper so I could sleep more.

Just go with it. Cancel any other plans for a few days, and know that the cluster feeding will pass soon.

No tips I can think of just keep in mind it’ll get better my second little one is now going on 7 weeks and I remember thinking why in God’s name am I doing this lol but it really gets better and breastfeeding will become so natural and such an instinct for you and baby keep your head up it’ll get better
