Please help!

I have recently found out I am pregnant 🌈☺️ but I am in the process of starting a new job! I won’t be entitled to statutory maternity pay as I wouldn’t have been there long enough... but does anyone know what I would have to do to qualify for maternity allowance? I have worked since Jan 2018 (went on maternity leave in Sept 2018 but sadly lost my beautiful boy 💔). Returned to work July 2019 and will start a new job next month. So I have been being paid since Jan 2018 but sometimes not earning enough to deducted NI.

A bit concerned about pay whilst on leave 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m in the U.K. any help would be greatly appreciated!
