Can babys sleep in their swaddles throughout the night or do I need to buy the little sleeper bags where their arms are allowed free?

They can sleep swaddled until they can roll over.

Some of the sleep sacks have swaddle tops. We plan to use those because I’m not the best at getting a tight swaddle and the little baby sleeping bags give me better peace of mind.

My doc advised me to swaddle (I just used a receiving blanket) until my baby could get her arms out on her own because she could potentially loosen up the blanket enough for it to became a hazard. But I’m not sure if it is different with sleep sacks designed to let baby’s arms be free. Either way they are fine to be swaddled through the night.
