Repeat C Section

I'm a first time mom my son was born 3 months early. My amniotic sac had bursted so that's why my son had came so early and I gave birth to him via c section and I was told since I had a c section I would most likely have all my pregnancies like that so with that being said I might be pregnant and I'm wondering since my son had to be delivered via emergency c section, would the process still be the same ? Will I be numbed and put to sleep or will I be numbed and be awake??? And also if you could tell me about your repeated c section stories? I'm nervous to go through it again and I'm praying I will have a happy and healthy full 9 months
