im 17 weeks with my first pregnancy i’m gaining weight but not seeming to really show yet. should i be worried?

Its still common not to show yet. Your uterus hasn't even reached your belly button yet and your body hasn't been stretched out by a baby yet so it tends to hold its shape better. Some women dont show with their first until closer to the 3rd trimester

It's fairly common to not show much at that point. 
With my first, i didn't have much of a bump till around 26 weeks. 
I've been showing much sooner with my second babe.
