It’s definitely not necessary but I did it with my son at about 30 weeks and it was amazing. I think it helped me feel more bonded to him earlier since I saw all of his features and little fingers and toes while in the womb. I loved it and loved being able to look at all the photos while I was waiting for my due date. But it is expensive and definitely not a necessity.

I did with both my babies to find out gender early (impatient)...
I think its amazing to see your baby so small yet so developed and so busy in there! I loved it and it wasn't that much, around $120 I think.
