Highest fever you’ve seen in your child?

Hey you guys. We’ve been having some health issues with my little man lately but I’m getting particularly concerned because he’s been running crazy high fevers for the last 2-3 days. He had developed a little cough and some congestion and I’m wondering if a cold can cause such high fevers. He’s been ranging from like 102.5 to as high as 103.7 which is what he was last night. They do eventually come down with Tylenol or ibuprofen but shoot right back up. I’m just getting a big worried cause that seems so dang high and he just turned one last week :(

104.3 I have one kiddo that will run higher fevers than the rest. 🤷‍♀️ I have four, and viral illness will just run through my family. One son will have that high of a fever, and another will be closer to 101 with same illness. No lie, those high numbers scare me, but they respond to medicine and tepid bath so I have never taken him in, but threatened to numerous times if it didnt come back down quickly. Always alternate motrin and tylenol.

Went thru this 3 weeks ago...had a cold with a fever followed by some viral rash.. then roseola the following week with fever and then the rash afterwards...finally in the clear it seems!

My little guy recently had a fever of 105. He had a fever all week- drs wouldn’t do anything. He had ended up be diagnosed with pneumonia 5 days later.

Going through this now. My son was having fever come and go, ranging from 101-103.5 (highest heat ever had). Took him to the pediatrician, told her I wanted to have his ears checked, and sure enough he had his first ear infection. He had some mild congestion and his nighttime sleep had become horrible, but no other symptoms, no pulling on his ear or anything. Just a gut feeling.

After 3 days of high fever I took my daughter in and she had uti. 
My other friends 1 year old had multiple days of high fevers, so she took her in to get checked and she ended up having roseola and strep

My daughters was 103 the other day. On and off for a couple of days. She started daycare, had her shots and was teething all at the same time. For babe just couldn't catch a break. I know you can alternate medication every 4 hours. But my daughter took really well to advil and the fever would be gone for 8 hours or so and then pop back up. Good luck! Make sure babe is hydrated.

Sames happening with my son hes having Calpol and iburphen every 4 hours to try and stop if shooting up its the worst when he's being asleep for a couple hours and wakes up feeling boiling other than that keeping them topped up during the day works to prevent a fever
