If you were sitting there and watching baby, then it should be okay. But if baby will be unsupervised at any point in time, I personally wouldn’t. My son is almost 2 and I still won’t let him sleep with a hood on. It just gives me anxiety, it’s a lot harder for them to move out of their face then a blanket or stuffed animal would be.

If it was thin and a wider neck I would tuck it in during naps and just make sure it was really flat. However, for the most part I would avoid it.
