Starting Breastfeeding
So, my little boy Leviathan is 33 & 6 adjusted, he was born at 31 weeks.
We just started trying to nurse 2 days ago. The lactation consultant said he is doing really well for his age because he does try to latch, but he lets go pretty quickly and isn't really getting much, if any, milk yet. How did starting go for you guys? I could really use some positive stories ;-) and I would love to know how long it took other preemies to figure out nursing.
