any tips on discipline?

I have an almost 3 year old (beginning of feb) and I just need some tips or advice on different methods to discipline him .. he does not listen at all anymore (of course)
to be expected bc he’s a toddler, about to be in ￼ treacherous three’s but putting him in time out, or to stand in a corner does not work for him 
any other methods or tips ?!
