When did you start your period after giving birth

Hi ladies 
When did you start your first period after giving birth? 
How was the flow of the blood? Heavy or light? 
I started bleeding yesterday after giving birth 6 weeks ago, But bleeding heavily and have period like cramps. I can’t tell if it’s my period or postpartum haemorrhage 
Please share you experience

4 months postpartum and it was  light. Second one was heavy. I have PCOS and irregular cycles so don't go by me lol.

1.5 years the first time, 3 months the second time, and so far it’s been 4 months this time and nothing yet.

I think I was around 9 weeks pp when mine came back. It was heavy, but mine always are so I wouldn't say it was out of the ordinary. I was also exclusively breastfeeding at the time, my body decided it didn't care and was going to have periods anyway.

I got my period 6w pp and it was heavier than usual and painful as well, my ob confirmed it was my period!

8m pp both times. I only got one between my 2nd and my 3rd (current) pregnancy and it was fairly light but cramps were decently bad. I can’t remember clearly between my first and second.
