Why Am I Suddenly Interested?

Okay, so this might be a stupid question to ask..... But, there’s this guy, who before all of this I would have probably never been interested in.... However, recently he asked me out. Now I can’t get him out of my mind and am completely interested. Why is that? I know this is probably a really dumb question to ask and I’m sorry about that.
