So. I have been really close friends with this guy for around 8 years. Over this past summer we started getting closer and more serious as in relationship wise. We had been talking for around 6 months and then all of the sudden he told me that he needs to figure his life out first before he can get into something serious with me. This really crushed me because I had started to have deeper feelings for him. He says he still likes me and he wants to try things again but he needs to figure stuff out. He is 24 and doesn’t have a real job, so I’m not sure if he’s trying to figure that out or what. And it wasn’t just like a normal break up. He still wants to text me and snap me but more on a friend level. He also wants to see me every now and then but he doesn’t want to mess around or have sex anymore. I’m just devastated because I was truly having deeper feelings for him and then he just said he wanted to just be friends after 6 months of us talking. I don’t know what to do. Should I wait for him or just try to move on?
