How did having a baby affect your work/going to college?

Question

My husband and I are trying for a baby and were moving in January to another state. I want to go back to school for nursing or keep the current job I have and just transfer but I know either way it'll affect us.

Im not gonna sugar coat it. I wish I would’ve waited until I was done with school. It affects everything. When you can meet up for group projects, harder to get internships you need to complete or in your case clinical hours,  
No time for homework once they’re mobile, or even as a newborn you’re just too exhausted, no time to study, have to create your schedule around when you can find childcare so can’t always take classes you need, overall, it’s just ridiculously hard and has taken me an extra year already (and I didn’t take any time off, but I failed a couple classes because I had too much going on.) it’s just hard and I don’t recommend it. Of course it’s do-able if you have a big support system and you’re willing to stay up late to complete your work, and willing for it to take a little longer.

If you’re going for nursing school. I HIGHLY suggest waiting on baby making. It can be done but, it is extremely difficult. I personally didn’t have kids or get pregnant while in school and I still struggled! Nursing school is a whole other ball game. It’s almost like it’s designed to weed out the weak and if you are sleep-deprived or anything at all like that due to baby....😬😬.

I had my son when I just started college, I did all online with him at a community college and now that I transferred to get my bachelors I also do online, I stay at home with him during the day and do my school work, and then work part time in the evenings. He will be 3 in December! And I’m currently pregnant with my second. It has not been easy, when he became able to walk I had to wait until he napped, went to sleep. Or got up earlier than he would so I can get studying done. It’s hard, but not impossible!

I had a great support system and my husband was great so it didn’t effect it at all. I had my son in the middle of my masters program and am currently working on my doctorate. He is 2 now and i am pregnant with baby # 2. It was hard. There were sleepless nights. There were times I was breastfeeding and doing homework. But its doable. I worked only part time tho through this process

I’m nearly done with my masters program to become a NP while already having two little ones and pregnant. We’ve been through loads of infertility problems and it takes me awhile to get pregnant so we decided to stop my birth control and let it get out of my system in the hopes I would get pregnant and have the baby soon after finishing school. Ha! I should have known better. I got pregnant right away and I’m due in 17 days while struggling to finish up this semester so I can have this baby in peace. Did I mention I’m still working as well?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ My advice....WAIT! Nursing school, whether it’s your undergrad or masters, is extremely time consuming and exhausting in so many ways. Add pregnancy to that mix and it’s absolutely miserable!

I'm kind of stuck between nursing or logistics just because when I was in the military, I was logistics but I had hip surgery and got medically discharged. I don't know guys ):
