Csection and a tubal 😣

Ki

November 1st I came in for my planned csection. I was 39weeks at the time. (I had an emergency csection with my first because my body was not dilating and my daughter was losing oxygen)

The doctors and I decided to do a planned csection with this baby as well at 39weeks due to my Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction.

Here is a picture of my daughter and I before she became a big sister

When I was in the operating room getting prepped I had to get my spinal. Now for any moms who have got an epidural know how hard it is to bend forward just right. Ladies it took 6 times to get my spinal in the correct place. I was getting discouraged but eventually they got it! (I had such an amazing team on my side) soon, and I mean very soon after I started getting numb. I thought to myself "this is it, the last time I will be doing this and the first time I'll be seeing my baby girl" ... many many tugs and pulls my daughter still wasn't coming out. Her head was so deep in my pelvic bone they had to use forceps to get her out 😣 (poor baby girl has a huge lump on her head). They eventually got her out and BOOM I hear her sweet little cries. I fell in love all over again as I laid there listening waiting to see her. While they were cleaning her up for skin to skin they were also doing my tubal. All I hear was "you have beautiful tubes" lol so many things were going thru my mind as my tubes were being removed. Like "this is it, my last baby, my last time doing this, my last time creating something beautiful" it was very emotional for me and still is. I just know it was for the best as I have very difficult pregnancies. Anyways, it was time to meet my baby girl!

Ladies meet

Ionii Lena (eye-oh-knee)

7lbs 14oz

20.5 inches of perfection

She has been worth every aching moment. She is doing well and met her big sister yesterday!

I am slowly recovering and I have been in a lot of pain. I got staples for my incision as well as a morphine pump that went in the incision and dripped every hour foe pain. If you ladies get a csection I highly recommend you ask about this pump! It was a life saver as I didn't have this available with my first csection.

I was honestly terrified of another csection but here we are on the road to happiness and recovery!
