Soy Formula

Has anyone had to switch from standard baby formula to soy? Did it make an improvement and what were the reasons to switch?

I am starting to think my LO needs to as she has been screaming in pain since day one really and is always passing wind. She is on gaviscon for reflux but is still being sick after feeds.
