Does any body know what this is?

My 6 week out has come out in a rash and I don’t know where from, it kind of looks like a heat rash as she gets very hot but she’s had it for a few days now and it’s not clearing? Does anybody have any idea what it is and what I can do to get rid of it?

looks like a bad case of baby acne to me. My baby had this on her chin neck behind her ears and a little bit on her chest where she drooled at night and it stayed wet. keep it dry during the day and I used aquaphor or Vaseline at night to create a barrier in case she spit up again. Other say you can put breast milk on it! It'll kind of come and go for a few days but should heal up soon 😁

My girl has gotten these and they go away. I noticed them when her skin is sensitive to things I put on it, like lotions or a pea sized drop of soap. I’ve been using hypoallergenic, non scented baby products and her skin is just that sensitive. Hers has gone away after me several times a day wiping and drying her skin with nothing but warm water.

It’s very common in newborns. My baby is 7 weeks today and he has this along with some cradle cap. It’s called Neonatal Acne and is due to hormonal changes as they grow. There isn’t really a cure for it. It comes and goes and should go away as baby gets older. You aren’t supposed to put anything on it. You’re just supposed to try and keep your baby clean with wiping him/her down with water a few times a week. Using soap and lotions and such is bad for them when they are this young. Stay away from acne creams.

My baby recently developed this too. Not sure what it is but I used aquaphor and it’s been clearing up really well. That stuff is amazing!

Mine has had it for just over a week. I kept reading that lanolin helps. I put nipple cream on it since it's high in lanolin and it's finally clearing up.

If you are breastfeeding, put some milk on it. My LO broke out after sweating while sleeping on me and it worked for her.
