His mom is so strict it’s hurting our relationship
My boyfriend and I are both 19 years old. We both work. I live with my parents, he lives with his (his mom and stepdad). His parents are divorced and he has a lot of half siblings from his mom sleeping with a lot of people.(I don’t mean that I’m a mean way) And she’s also had him at age 16. She’s always going out partying and drinking with his Stepdad and is barely home. and she keeps tabs on my boyfriend a lot. He doesn’t have a lot of time to spend with me because he has one day off of work and he has a curfew. If he isn’t at house at 9:00 sharp he will be kicked out of the house. It’s hard because he lives an hour away and so he has to leave at 7:30-8:00. He can’t spend the night or he’ll be yelled at. When I’m at his house we can’t be in his room together. And she is always looking at his checking account to see what he’s buying so he doesn’t spend a lot of money. So he can’t even buy condoms for us to have sex and he doesn’t want to ask his friends for some. I’ll have to buy them. Lol
Now he is trying to move out but he is struggling with his money because of college and he is afraid too leave because his mom told him that he won’t be allowed back in the house. She said he can visit but he can’t spend even one night there. So if he made a mistake he’d have no where to go too. she’s finding every way to keep him from moving out.
Soo he spent the night once and told his stepdad that he is sleeping at his friends house. The next day his mom was telling him that she wants proof and is telling him to give her his friends mom’s number.
He plans to move to this friends house. So even if he’s not living with his mom she’s still gonna find a way to keep tabs on him if she has the moms phone number.
My mom is worried for him. She wants him to actually move here when he graduates college and finds a job closer to me. She wants him to be safe. He is a really fragile person and he’s really emotional. His mom has made him cry countless of times because she does nothing but yell at him and he can never talk to her about how he feels. he just wants to be an adult and he wants to spend more time with me.
