Feedings
So my daughter has been struggling with feeding time the last few months. She wants the bottle but will turn her head all over the place, knock the bottle out of her mouth, and doesn’t like to sit still. I go into a darkened room with no distractions or noises thinking that’s the problem but nope, same thing happens. I keep her at a slow flow nipple (size 1) because she chokes on any other kinds plus she has reflux which is getting better but still, I don’t want the flow to be too much for her. She’s been using the same bottles since she’s been born (dr browns slim anti-colic bottles) so it’s not the bottle. She also likes the avent natural bottles. She just can’t sit still and barely eats. She barely wants to take 3 oz. She’s been back to eating 3-4 oz which is fine, she’s still growing good and having plenty of wet and dirty diapers but it’s weird. She doesn’t puke anymore as she’s growing out of her reflux and she was doing good for awhile. But then I will take the bottle thinking maybe she doesn’t want it (even though she shows all hunger signs) and she fusses because I took it away. I burp her all of the time and she’s been burping on her own but she just doesn’t want to sit still. I’m thinking it’s maybe because she’s more aware of things? I have no idea but feeding time is a disaster and takes forever lol. Any other moms going through this?
