Working during last trimester ?!?!

I’ve been working since before I even got pregnant and everything has been good so far. My doctor knows I still currently work.. I will be 33 weeks on Wednesday . I guess it’s depending on me and they way my body is handling working .. but I still want an opinion 👀 soo when’s a good time to start my maternity leave..?!

I'm a nurse so I work 3 12 hour shifts. I've been doing well but it's getting tough. I planned on working until due date but I'll be 39 weeks for Christmas and I would be working...so I think I will go out at 39 weeks so I can relax during the holidays and not be running around at work.

I went on maternity leave as soon as I could at 36 weeks. I was so glad I did because my son came at 38 weeks. Those 2 weeks were so nice to relax and have some time to myself before the months of sleepless nights began.

I originally planned to work up until the weekend before my scheduled csection. However, at 36 by body said NOPE, you’re done, and i was put on bedrest due to blood pressure. Just listen to your body.

A lot of women in my country start it at about 36 weeks. But we get 12-18 months of mat leave so I guess it just depends how long you will get with baby.

Thank you guys ! Also am on my feet alll day at work (cashier)  .. (first pregnancy) just curious . I’m trying to work as long as possible. My doctor hasn’t said anything to be about stopping so we will see at my next appointment

I'm working til my water breaks or until my OB admits me ( next appt is Thurs I'll be 38 weeks 4 days) but I'm a single momma with soon to be 3 kids and no help with either father's. So with bills and extra expenses I can't just stop working and I'll only be taking a week off.
