Letrozole and gestofit progestrone 200mg

Today its CD14 after taking first round of letrozole. But i have not ovulated yet. My doctor has prescribed me to take progestrone from CD14 TO CD28 .i googled and found that after your progesterone level rises in your body you will not ovulate. Is it true?

I was supposed to ovulate today but my bbt and opks all are negative. So is it okay to start taking progesterone before even getting negative OPKS? Or should i once consult my doc about this matter?
