Fluid in kidneys

We went to an appointment about a month ago and was told there was fluid in the kidneys and it’s very common it’ll more than likely go away on its own and if not it could be fixed. That was 12 weeks. We went in today (16weeks and 5days) to follow up and was told by a different doctor that there was still fluid and the kidneys are huge and the right one was scarring and is failing and there isn’t that much anomie fluid. He said there isn’t anything we can do but genetic testing and keep watching the baby. He said we could terminate the pregnancy but I already know that isn’t an option for me in my mind. So if I give birth the baby could die from kidney failure or need a kidney transplant later in life. I’m so torn this would be my third miscarriage. I’m not giving up on this baby I know he/she is a fighter.

Anyone have this same experience? We are so so scared
