PCOS TTC

Destiny

So I’m in disbelief to be completely honest. Yesterday my gynecologist called me and said my testosterone and insulin was elevated, and that’s hand in hand with PCOS. She prescribed me Metformin. I asked where do I go now and she said you come back to see me when you get a positive pregnancy test. I don’t understood. We were planning to try for baby #2 soon and I’m afraid I’ll struggle to conceive. I’m in disbelief due to having a baby 2 years ago. My periods was irregular due to nexplanon. I had gotten off it 04/20/2016 and found out in March 2017 I was pregnant. I didn’t have a normal period and I thought maybe my body needed time to adjust. I had gotten a light period in December 2016 I think after that I got pregnant. After having my son I got on the pill. My period was normally. In late August I stopped taking my birth control. I went to see my doctor due to not having a period since 09/06/2019. We did blood work and she gave me progesterone but told me don’t take it til we are sure you’re not pregnant. A few days later my period came on its own lasted for 5 days. I remember as a teen they told my mom I had high testosterone but they weren’t worried about it. I’m still young I’m only 21 but afraid that I won’t be able to conceive baby #2.
