My aunt wants me to get a perm because my hair is “nappy” and “needs a touch up” 🙄 i’ve been getting perms since i was little (i’m 14) and they’re very damaging to my hair🤦🏽‍♀️. My hair is already breaking off from getting them😤. What should i do?

Stop them if you want and  join the wig team :)

Store bought perms are absolutely horrible for ur hair! My mom used them on me when I was younger as well, my hair was so damaged from them. But, professional perms & other professional products, like from a good salon or hair store, aren’t as damaging & can actually help ur hair. So, if possible, maybe try a professional one as opposed to store bought.
